Michael C. and Renée Z. Child have made outstanding contributions to the University of California, Davis, including the College of Engineering where Michael received his undergraduate degree in electrical and computer engineering in 1976.
The regional magazine has recognized Davis-based company Elve for its pathbreaking efforts to design and produce affordable millimeter wave amplifiers. The company was founded by Diana Gamzina, a three-time mechanical and aerospace engineering alumni at the University of California, Davis.
